Hi, I'm Chance. I have a goofy, playful nature and am a very active dog. I was born on the 9th of June xxxx and I weigh about 90 pounds. I'm a handsome dog with a sturdy build, a shiny coat, and a big, infectious smile. My papa was an Anatolian Sheppard, (which means I am very tall for a Sheppard) and my momma was a chocolate lab, though my coat is black. From my papa I get the traits of being very loyal and steadfast and making sure the property is safe from intruders and from my momma I get the wanting to cuddle and be a lap dog as well as I love love love to play! I am stubbornly smart-meaning I know lots of commands but am selective when I choose to follow them. I have had fairly extensive obedience training, and on the leash I follow all the commands. but off the leash I don't really care all the time, I just want to run and have fun. I greet other dogs quickly and play well with pups of all sizes, and even though I can be a bit of a bully I am told, one of my favorite playmates is only 8 pounds, but I am very gentle with her I just have to meet and greet the new folks my way, and I must make sure they know I am the boss --and after that first pummel things are fine. I am just trying to in my teenager way assert my being the Alpha in the house. I would make a great co-pilot for an assertive, active owner who appreciates smart, athletic dogs and will commit to my exercise and training. I need strong leadership to follow or else I will try to rule the house since someone has to, right? A home with a non-alpha dog and a fenced yard is ideal for me, and older kids (over seven) are great too. I'm a cool, active dog who is also affectionate and playful, and will be your steadfast companion.
