Miniature Pinscher - Dion - Small - Adult - Male - Dog
Dion: 5 yr old black & tan male, to be neutered in the first week of March, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 16 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. Dion was an unclaimed stray at the local SPCA. He is a bigger MinPin who loves to play with his toys. He fetches them and is getting better at letting them go with a "leave it" command. He has learned the word "outside" and goes to the door now when he hears that word. He has also just learned to give his paw on command. Dion is a mellow dog but needs continued help in overcoming his fear and his guarding behavior with toys and food. He lives with other dogs and he is okay with them. Every day he makes progress toward overcoming his past and with a strong human leader who is willing to give time and patience, he has the ability to become a wonderful companion. Dion will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 years. Note: Dion is located in Dover DE - and we will not fly this boy.
